Registration

Course Marshal
Directing runners at turns or intersections and helping to ensure that drivers are aware that runners are in the road, at times, stopping some traffic.
Course Set-Up and Close-Down Volunteer
Assist Race Director to set up the course and collect course supplies at the conclusion of the event.
Event Award Distribution Assistant
Assist Race Directors with all aspects of award distribution following the conclusion of the race.
Refreshments Volunteer
Assist with the set-up of the refreshment area, distribute refreshments and assist with clean up at the conclusion of the event.
Registration Volunteer
Assist pre-registered runners check in, distribute Tee shirts and any other participant gifts, assist day of race runners to register.
Timing Assistant
Assist the Timing Manager with all aspects of event timing and results recording and reporting.

PLEASE READ AND AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THE VOLUNTEER LIABILITY WAIVER BEFORE REGISTERING:

I know that volunteering at a road race is a potentially hazardous activity. I attest that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained to compete in this event. I assume all the risks associated with volunteering in this event, including but not limited to falls, the effects of weather including hypothermia, traffic and conditions of the road. I also understand that the use of headphones, ear buds, or other listening devices during this race is strongly discouraged for reasons of safety.

Having read this waiver and in consideration of your acceptance of my entry, I for myself and anyone acting on my behalf, waive and release the Hudson Mohawk Road Runners Club, The TriCity Valley CatsRoad Runners Club of America, The People of the State of New York, their officers, agents and employees, Hudson Valley Community College, State University of New York, State of New York, their representatives, officials and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my voluntary participation in this event, even though liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the organizations named in this waiver and/or their volunteers or employees.

Further, I hereby grant full permission to any and all of the foregoing to use any photographs, video, or any other record of this event for advertisement or other legitimate purposes.
